*How Do You Calculate Print Size?
This is not technically accurate, but for simplicity, pixels/inch (for images/photos)
and dots/inch (for printer) are
treated as the same.
My ink jet printer will print a "Better" photo if it can print at 300 ink
dots per inch 1600 /300 = 5.3333.
A 1600 x 1200 pixel image therefore will print a good 8" x 10" photo; but
it will be better at 5" x7."
